Cloud cost review from your billing CSV alone — no IAM roles, no production access
From one month of Google Cloud, AWS or OCI billing CSV, we find costs that read as unused and costs whose purpose needs checking, with amounts. You do not grant us any IAM role or any access to your production environment: the review needs only the billing CSV, and you keep all access in your own hands.
Who it is for: This service is for companies registered in Japan, including Japanese subsidiaries of foreign companies. Prices are in JPY and Japanese consumption tax (10%) applies.
Registered outside Japan? See our services for companies outside Japan (USD 299, card payment).
A line “reads as unused” when what the billing CSV says shows it is not being used. The judgement follows program rules applied to what the billing CSV says, so every bill is sorted by the same standard. We attach the basis for each line, so that your team, who knows the dependencies, can decide whether to switch it off.
| Billing line | Service | Category | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| unused-static-ip-3 | Compute Engine | Reads as unused | ¥1,240 |
| orphan-scheduled-query | BigQuery | Reads as unused | ¥860 |
| gpu-inference-01 | Compute Engine | Needs a usage check | ¥45,722 |
| dev-db-sandbox | Cloud SQL | Needs a usage check | ¥9,800 |
The sample report uses made-up data. You can read all of it without signing up or giving us an email address.
If you have a billing CSV at hand, the self-check sorts it with the same rules right away. Your browser reads the file and nothing is sent anywhere (free, no sign-up).
What you receive
A list of your billing lines in three groups, with the basis for each.
- Costs that read as unused — lines that, from what the billing CSV says, read as not being used. The amount is what the billing CSV shows. Your team decides whether it is safe to switch off after checking dependencies.
- Costs whose purpose needs checking — kinds of lines that tend to grow expensive when left running. The amount is that line’s current charge. How much can be saved is settled after checking actual running hours and redundancy needs.
- Costs shown separately — tax, support contracts, credits and similar, with their amounts.
The diagnosis covers one month of costs in the billing CSV. Any change or shutdown work is done under paid support, with the scope and completion criteria agreed in advance.
From request to report
- Email us — write to contact@infraone.jp with the subject “costdiag fit check request”. It helps to include your approximate monthly cloud spend, which clouds you use and whether you can export billing data. We will tell you how to send the billing details (the CSV itself) in the next step, so your first email only needs an overview.
- Fit check (by email) — we ask about your approximate monthly bill, the billing data you can export, the person in charge, and whether you would consider paid support (JPY 80,000 excluding tax). We then reply by email with the result against our criteria: either an invitation to the free fit check or a checklist you can use yourself.
- Sending the CSV — if your case fits, we explain how to send the CSV and receive it (we handle it only on servers we manage).
- Candidates and points to check — we send the main candidates, what needs checking and whether paid support would help. We tell you the expected delivery date when we receive the data.
- Paid support (if you want it) — we email terms stating the scope, deliverables and completion criteria, and start after you accept them and we confirm your advance payment.

Prices in JPY. The free fit check is for companies whose cloud spend is JPY 300,000 or more a month, because that is the scale where there is usually room to cut. For companies below that, we send a checklist and a sample you can use on your own. In the fit check, we spend up to 60 minutes free of charge on email guidance, looking at the data and explaining the result.
Paid support is a fixed fee, so the cost is settled before you order. For work beyond 4 hours, we propose the scope and cost separately in advance.
Everything from the first question to delivery can be handled by email. You can read our messages when it suits you and share them internally as they are. The billing CSV is diagnosed by a program on servers we manage. Based on what you send (approximate monthly spend, the clouds you use and the billing data you can provide), we reply by email with the result and next steps. We check each company individually, so we take free fit checks from the first 3 companies each week. This is the same limit as on our Japanese page: requests in English and in Japanese count toward the same 3 per week. For paid support, we email terms stating the scope, deliverables and completion criteria, and do up to 4 hours of work after you accept them and we confirm payment.
